Daily Photo Tour - Golden State Mine Shaft

The Golden State area of California Adventure is themed extraordinarily well. The Redwoods, the woodwork and the smell, transport me straight home to Northern California, where I am originally from. What I miss most about growing up in Sonoma County, is exploring new worlds amongst the lakes and the Redwoods. Whenever I need a fix, I head over to Golden State and am flooded with childhood memories of swimming in the lake, hiking and camping. It's for that reason that this is my favorite area of California Adventure.
