Daily Photo Tour - The Great Mickey Mouse-O-Lantern

You don't have to wait all night in a pumpkin patch to see a great pumpkin. All you have to do is take a trip to Disneyland to bask in the glow of a giant pumpkin fashioned after everyone's favorite mouse. Mickey's smile flickers along with the happy Halloween Time spirit at Disneyland that frequently finds music in the air of a quartet singing songs about happy haunts and ghosts who grin. If you're not able to make it to the Park before the great Mickey Mouse-O-Lantern comes down, staring at this picture for a while might help. Sharing it with all of your family, friends and acquaintances will certainly help. Bookmarking this sight, clicking "Like" on our Facebook page and following us on Twitter will help even more. To top that off you can simulate the flickering of the lantern by adjusting your monitor's brightness up and down quickly and unevenly.

You're right! Staring at the picture isn't as good as being there, but it does bring on that "Disney" feeling and makes me smile. I know you have said that to get some of these pictures, the three of you wait until you are politely "escorted" out by friendly security Cast Members. It must be a totally different feeling to see the park so quiet and peaceful. Thanks for sharing your passion with us.

Thank You so much for this beautiful picture!! My Husband and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary in Disneyland last year at this time and have a great family pic taken in front of this Pumpkin. It is nice to see it presented in such a wonderful way.

@Amber - Right on! Thank you!

@805 Buckaroo - Thank you! We are still looking into offering prints. We just want to make sure to do right by Disney and the wonderful CM's and Imagineers who make it what it is.

I couldn't wait until after Halloween to take a look at your pictures. I was not disappointed. I had no idea the park was so decorated but being Disney I should have expected it. Have never visited during this time of year. We usually go in December but have decided that our next trip will be in Sept/Oct. Thanks so much for posting all these wonderful pictures. I have shared them with many friends. Have a wonderful Holiday season.
