Daily Photo Tour - Halloween Time Glow on Main Street

The reds, oranges and yellows of the Halloween Time decorations at Disneyland fit right in on Main Street. At night they glow vibrantly beneath the many lights and lamps adorning everyone's home town. The giant Mickey pumpkin is definitely the grandest of the decorations and it's painfully obvious when trying to wait for the crowds to thin out to get a picture. From Park open to close couples and children, families and friends wait to have their pictures taken in front of either side of the gargantuan gourd. But if you wait long enough, you can capture quiet moments like this as security makes their final sweep down Main Street to bid you a good night.

I love this picture. You must stay pretty late to get a shot like this. Do you recall what time it was? I only ask because it would be my luck Id miss the tram back to my parking lot lol

I was going to ask the same thing...about what time security makes that final sweep?

I love this picture - I keep coming back to it. There is something about the stillness it portrays after all the hustle and bustle that has just gone through. I love the giant Mickey pumpkin, the red flowers on the right, the lighting from both inside and outside the buildings, the textures of the street and the bricks on the sidewalk and the night sky. I am also impressed by how clean it all looks given the fact that clean-up has not yet begun. There is so much to take in here and I just really enjoy this view - Thank you for staying late and sharing through your eyes!

Kevin C, thank you! This photo was taken just after 1:00. We usually end up missing the last tram of the night when we stay that late unfortunately. It's worth it to get these empty shots though!

LynneAnne, thank you!

Brad, security will make their final sweep at 1:00 which is when the park is officially closed.

Anonymous, the park takes on a whole new life that time of night and it's truly amazing. thank you!
