Daily Photo Tour - Headin' to the Frontier

It's amazing to think that a little over 100 years ago, people made the journey to the west in search of a new beginning and solitude on the frontier. I find it that the older I get the more fascinated I become with history, and the succession of events that have lead up to present day. I wonder what it would have been like to be the first to traverse the long journey across the United States.
