Daily Photo Tour - 'Tis an Elegant Merry-Go-Round Horse
This beautiful carousel piece can be found in the Jolly Holiday Bakery as you make your way through the line deciding what sort of yummy thing to eat. Just about everything in there is a reference to the film. It's hard to imagine a better way to get around than on a merry-go-round horse with Mary Poppins. You might say that it's practically perfect in every way.

Daily Photo Tour - The Light at the End of a Rainy Evening
We haven't had many outings to Disneyland on rainy days but we always enjoy when we do. It sets a different tone in the park. The crowds are certainly a lot lighter and that, of course, is wonderful. Aside from the that, the attractions and theming take on a whole new disposition. Colors against a gray sky. Lights glistening on soaked pavement. Wiping a bench off to get a dry seat after a day of running around a park you have to mostly to yourself. Each of these things, and more, creates a unique experience and contribute to some great photo opportunities.
The website is getting closer and closer to completion. We're really loving it and can't wait to share this new platform with you.

Daily Photo Tour - A Jolly Penguin
Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, there's no denying it. It's been rare that I've doubted this statement, having some of my fondest memories there. As they say, however, the proof is in the pudding. The pudding that I'm serving in this case is the penguin before you, a jolly chap
and empirical evidence in support of the prior referenced statement regarding a certain theme park and happiness. Disneyland... where even the penguins are happy. 'Nuff said.

Daily Photo Tour - Jolly Holiday Bakery
It was really interesting to watch the sun come up in different areas of Disneyland. It seemed to hit each land at a different time, allowing them to take turns having their moment to shine (pun intended if you find that sort of thing funny...). As Matthew was set up for a picture looking towards the Partners statue I noticed the sun start to glisten off of Disneyland's newest weathervane, Mary Poppins. It was beautiful. As the light made its way down to the rooftop, I knew I had to take a shot of morning's first gleam on the bakery. A jolly morning indeed.

Daily Photo Tour - A Jolly Holiday Mural
The Jolly Holiday Bakery is popular spot at Disneyland and with good reason. The glimpses of a Mary Poppins atmosphere on the outside lead to immersion on the inside, with thoughtful details and a loop of Sherman brothers' tunes filling the air. The menu has a lot to offer and there's sure to be something for everyone. One of my favorite details is this mural, similar to the one that resided here when it was the Plaza Pavilion. There are actually two of these, one on either side of where the line splits. As you can see, it's a charming painting filled with references to some of Mary Poppins' most memorable moments.
