Daily Photo Tour - Lighting Up the Emporium
If you haven't gathered already, I'm a fan of the light fixtures throughout the Disneyland Resort. This chandelier especially caught my eye with the beautiful glass mosaic and woodwork framing it. It's definitely cause to look up once in a while when you're in the shops. Just watch out for the racks in the process; I learned this the hard way.

Daily Photo Tour - Stormy Day at the Emporium
The stormy weather today reminded me of the day I took this shot. It had rained heavily most of the morning. The Park was quiet and peaceful. Eventually the rain stopped and the clouds began to shift, revealing patches of sky and rays of light. Moments like these force you into a state of awareness and make you feel alive.

Daily Photo Tour - The Emporium
The largest store in Disneyland, the Emporium, carries such a large variety of merchandise. It can be quite difficult to make your way out of this place once you find your way in. I find it even more challenging to leave without emptying your entire wallet into the cash register! I just love the exterior of this building. It is a very welcoming icon that leads you straight down the middle of Main Street U.S.A., and into the heart of the park.

Daily Photo Tour - The Summer Emporium
When there are epic clouds hanging over Disneyland the three of us tend to freak out. We get very excited as this doesn't happen so often. I caught this shot last summer while we were entering the park in the hot afternoon. Every once in a while those big poofy clouds come in from the south and provide for some very interesting compositions. Main Street during the summer day just seems right; the heat, the brightness, and the attitude to get cool!
