Daily Photo Tour - When the Bells Ring and the Fireworks Explode

We were wandering through New Orleans Square one night getting shots for the holiday season. We had lost track of time when all of a sudden the fireworks sprang up into the air. They exploded in bright reds, greens and golds, bathing the alleyway with their glow. Fireworks are a nightly occurrence at Disneyland, barring strong winds or rain, but they still hold their association with Independence Day and ringing in the New Year for me. Maybe it's much too late in the game, but what are you doing New Year's Eve? We are heading to the park!

GORGEOUS!!! I have such a hard time with photographing fireworks, can you give any tips? My pictures just turn out to be a huge light blob.

Thank you both for the encouraging comments!

@redheadmomma here are some tips for fireworks: You will want to have a low ISO (100-200), closed aperture (at least 8), and a shutter speed of 2 seconds or more. Hope that helps!
