Daily Photo Tour - Alone at the Carousel
Even with all of the energy of the overnight crowd from Disneyland's One More Day, there were still quiet moments to be found. It was an interesting, unusual contrast and I found myself drawn to the solitude of the carousel during interims between spinning its noble steeds. It never ceases to amaze me that no matter how wild and crazy things get at Disneyland, there's always a special moment waiting just around the bend.

BAM! Newest follower here, and may I just say, Hi! As a deep-seeded lover and defender of all things Disney, and a budding amateur photographer, I am thrilled to have found your site! Love this photo of the carrousel - as a kid, I always waited and watched until I knew exactly where my favorite horse would be when they'd open the gates. Off and running, I was. No way another kid was gonna get my pretty pony with flowers in her mane and bells down her flank. No sir.
While I enjoy most photos here this one is especially gorgeous. Really made my morning today.
Thanks,
Mike in KC
