Daily Photo Tour - Autumn Glow on the Matterhorn

It's amazing how something steadfast, such as the Matterhorn, can take on an entirely new perception based on mutable external factors. The weather this Autumn is being its usual unpredictable self; the temperature swings, the wind blows, the sun tracks South towards Winter. The soft glow from this changing alignment coupled with a cool breeze lends credibility to the glistening snow. Maybe, just maybe it's cold enough at the top of that peak for that snow to cling.
