Daily Photo Tour - The Icy Peak
As a kid, nothing said you were almost to Disneyland like the icy peak of the Matterhorn coming into view. What seemed like an eternity in the back seat of a car quickly faded from memory as the mountain and the realization of all your excitement grew.

I remember everyone would flood to one side of the car and stare at it saying "Look look! Matterhorn!" So beautiful. Thanks Matthew.
My only visit to Disneyland as a kid I was six years old, that mt. Made a huge impression on me.
It was because of those Swiss climbers that, as soon as I could afford the gear ten years later, I took
Up rock climbing. All because as a six year old I thought that mt. Was real and that thrill was awesome .

We drove down twice when I was growing up and my 2 brothers and I always strained to be the first to say: "I see the Matterhorn!".
