Daily Photo Tour - Arabian Nights

The entrance to Aladdin's Oasis has a lot of rich, beautiful detail that seems to pop in the glow of Adventureland's flickering lights. I love the deep red curtain at the end of the corridor. It has such an elegant feeling of mystery. I took this shot as we made our way out of Adventureland on a 'close out the Park' night. We had been asked to move along by a "suit" but I hastily snagged this shot as we did, with Matthew and Kevin pressing on to aide in the appearance of departure.

Daily Photo Tour - Aladdin's Oasis

Adventureland is a great spot to cool off on hot days. The tree coverage offers some great shade and there always seems to be a mysterious cool breeze blowing through. On this afternoon, we were taking a break to get some cool refreshments when I noticed all the shadows stretching across Aladdin's Oasis. It was a reminder of why I love taking pictures in Adventureland, the lighting is always so dynamic.

Daily Photo Tour - The Oasis Corridor

This is the entrance to Aladdin's Oasis, where you can hear stories of another Arabian night. The one thing that most caught my eye here was the canopy, with the multicolored textiles, beautifully hanging overhead. There's just something about Adventureland in general. It takes you the furthest away from what you've seen and can be considered familiar, to a whole new world. Peering down this vestibule, you can almost get lost as your imagination runs wild with your own story in some romantic Arabian setting.
