Daily Photo Tour - A Morning Cup of Tea

I have a tremendous amount of respect for people who can jump into a teacup intended to spin them into oblivion first thing in the morning. I've never been one for sudden movements that early; I like to ease myself into the day. So naturally, I sat this one out and used the opportunity to take a photo of Matthew and Kevin spinning like no one's business. They wanted to contribute some additional movement to my image so I'm pretty sure they spun faster than anyone else out there, laughing hysterically the whole time.

Daily Photo Tour - Late to the Party

There are a lot of peculiar looking homes in Fantasyland and although this is one of the more familiar ones, I hadn't really noticed it until this evening. It's a great little angle to take in Storybook Land which made it easy for me to imagine this house on a hillside in Hobbiton, yes Hobbiton, sometimes I wish I lived there, and the canal provided the perfect backdrop for this "storybook" setting. Can't you just imagine hobbits spinning their way around a Mad Tea Party?

Daily Photo Tour - A Spin to Remember

You have to give the imagineers credit. They make everything in Disneyland blend so seamlessly. I love the transitions throughout the park when walking from land to land. It's interesting to see what lines up. One night while walking through Fantasyland, the Matterhorn seemed to just move itself into the perfect position.

Daily Photo Tour - Mad Tea Party

There is nothing like a hot summer day at Disneyland. But in January? It was 80 degrees today in Anaheim, California. For some of you that live in Southern California, it felt like one of those hot summer days today! A lot of my memories of Disneyland come from trips during the summer. This picture here was taken last June. The Tea Cups are a great way to cool off and escape the heat, especially if you don't want to get wet! Get that cup a crankin', feel the wind in your face, and bask in the shade, all of course while spinning your heart out!

Daily Photo Tour - Teacups

There is nothing quite like jumping into a teacup and spinning at 30rpms in a circle for 2 minutes. And with all those lamps and lights spinning around you, you are guaranteed an authentic trip down the rabbit hole!
