Can you believe that summer is almost over? We can't. It seems that not only has it been Soundsational, but also Lightning McQueen fast. There have been many amazing additions to the Disneyland Resort this summer, some of which have brought back those childhood feelings like flying through the universe, having an underwater party with Ariel, or reliving the moments of a classic Disney movie through an amazing sound packed parade. Whatever you made of your summer, we hope that it was one made with memories and moments you will always remember. And if you're sad that the long days and warm nights are soon coming to a close at The Disneyland Resort, there's no need to worry, Christmas is just around the corner.

Daily Photo Tour - Chim Chimney Sweep

Mickey's Soundsational Parade is a lot of fun to watch. Not only was it beautifully and intricately designed by Kevin & Jody, it's performed by some of the most talented singers and dancers around. Of course one of my favorite parts is the Mary Poppins section. It's such a classic and the music is the kind you can't help but sing along to. It's so exciting to watch the fast paced steps of the chimney sweeps as they step in time. And they get to keep it up all through the parade route. A sweep is as lucky as lucky can be!

Daily Photo Tour - A Jolly Holiday Soundsation

The only parade that has really stuck with me over the years is the Main Street Electrical Parade. I remember as a child being so awestruck by its beauty and wonder. I haven't felt the same about a parade since. So when I heard about the new parade I didn't pay much attention. I quickly learned that Kevin & Jody designed the floats for the parade, and being a big fan of their work was intrigued and excited. I had seen pictures of Mickey's Soundsational Parade online and knew it was going to be good, but I had no idea just how good . The design was clever and beautifully done. The musicians and chimney sweeps seemed like they were having way too much fun and it made it even more entertaining to watch. I absolutely loved it and will be making a point to see it again.
