Daily Photo Tour - Jewel of Orleans

This quaint shop is tucked away among the other shops in New Orleans Square. One of a kind estate jewelry was sold here until recently. Unfortunately, the third party owners "Dianne's Estate Jewelery" had to close their doors due to economic hardship. It had been a regular stop for many people, if only to look at the amazing pieces and to hear the stories they would tell. Now, it will be home to designer jewelry and handbags and although the name will be preserved, it will never be the same again. This shop was indeed a gem and I am sorry to see it go.
