Daily Photo Tour - The Adventures of Tom Sawyer Island
Wandering around Tom Sawyer Island, or the Pirates' Lair if you prefer, is always an adventure. It's one of the areas in Disneyland that allows you to explore, with only your imagination to guide you... and perhaps the banks of the Rivers of America. The story is yours to create. My adventures always seem to lead me to this water wheel on the front side of the island, so it seemed about time to feature it in a post. Where will your next adventure lead you?

I just realized something! Do you think that "W. Turner" on the sign stands for Will Turner from Pirates? He WAS a blacksmith's apprentice...
Also, I love the composition of this photo, how the working waterwheel is accentuated by the falling water on the right side. Beautiful work, as always :)
