Daily Photo Tour - Monkeying Around

The three of us don't spend nearly enough time in any of the shops at Disneyland. We're usually preoccupied discovering all the details outside of them. One afternoon, we decided to change it up, hitting enough shops to fill an entire afternoon. While in the Pieces of Eight shop, I noticed this monkey chandelier for the first time. One would think a monkey hanging overhead would easily draw one's attention, but nonetheless, it eluded me for almost two years. It was a happy discovery and a reminder that there is still much to be seen throughout the parks.

I love it when you post pictures like this. I've never noticed the monkey chandelier either. Looking at your photo, I also notice the beautiful woodwork on the ceiling. This is another perfect example of the amazing detail that goes in to every aspect of Disneyland. It's a reminder for us to slow down a bit and take time to pay attention to all the great things we miss while going from one place to another. I will be much more observant during my next visit thanks to time you take to bring things like this to our attention.
