The Passing of an Innovator
Already the world seems a little less bright with the passing of Steve Jobs today. Steve Jobs was an innovator whose impact on the world is immeasurable. I happened upon an amazing speech he made at a Stanford University graduation that I wanted to share with you. It's 15 minutes if you have them to spare and well worth it -
Steve Jobs' Stanford Commencement Address.
Pixar also put out a statement well worth a read that can be found

Daily Photo Tour - An Afternoon at the Disneyland Hotel
The Disneyland Hotel is one of those facets of Disney that makes it so unique. All of the Disneyland Resort hotels have a way of continuing to immerse you in a dreamy, magical atmosphere. I have never personally stayed at the Disneyland hotel (which I hope to change very soon) but that doesn't stop me from spending time there. There's art and theming throughout the public areas to keep your interest for hours if you've got the time to spare. Steakhouse 55 is always a wonderful option for a delicious meal outside the Parks. Trader Sams will make you feel as though you've stepped ashore somewhere between the Jungle Cruise and the Tiki Room. All in all, it's a welcome and exciting excursion.

Daily Photo Tour - Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar
If you haven't had a chance to visit the new Trader Sam's Bar at the Disneyland Hotel, it's well worth making the journey through Downtown Disney. This elaborate sign greets you at the entrance as only a glimpse of what's to be found inside. You don't have to drink to enjoy the bar, which serves non-alcoholic beverages, small plates and a rich Adventureland theme. It's an exciting fusion of The Enchanted Tiki Room and The Jungle Cruise with a few surprises based on what you order. Make sure to pay them a visit next time you visit the Disneyland Resort!

Daily Photo Tour - Dapper Disney
As soon as you enter Steakhouse 55 you are greeted by a vintage portrait of Walt Disney looking rather dapper. His smile conveys a sense of welcome as if returning home from a long day. His portrait is just a prelude to the number of famous faces adorning the walls of the dining room that awaits your arrival. Art deco graces the ceiling and chandeliers and the dining room chairs offer just enough whimsy to allow its occupants the freedom to relax and have a good time. For a moment you may even feel as though you've caught a glimpse into life in Old Hollywood.

Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to all of you wonderful dads out there. Dads can be such an inspiration, even if they aren't trying to be. As a child, there were a few things that really stuck with me about my dad. One was how hard he worked. Another was watching him play guitar. Another still was watching his excitement over cameras and photography. I knew it was something special when I got to hold one of his cameras and inspiration to capture photos of my own rooted itself deep within. It was something that I lost sight of for quite some time, but obviously rediscovered. Thank you dad for inspiring a passion, even if you didn't mean to.
Daily Photo Tour - A Magical Welcome
This picture of the lobby to the Disneyland Hotel was taken by my dad. He uses a Canon 7D which is a pretty awesome camera. He gave me his set of bracketed pictures to edit and post here if I wanted. I thought it would be appropriate to present today. So without further ado, I present you with the Disneyland Hotel's magical welcome, featuring WED Enterprises concept art of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
