Daily Photo Tour - Inventing the Future
The interesting thing about this building is that many forget what it stands for. Even within seconds of stepping onto the never ending carousel the idea of the future is forgotten, and it seems that all guests want to do is be entertained. Well, they're in the right place, but there's more to Disneyland than just being entertained.
Innoventions is a place where imagination can directly be cultivated into invention. It's a place where the dreams of the future can be fashioned right before your eyes. I'm not talking about fancy gadgets or video games that seem to flourish in this place, but rather the seeds of ingenuity that inspire. The creation of one thing will always enact another to create something more resourceful, efficient, or just plain better. The concept of Innoventions has the capability to do this.
I've always felt that Disneyland has been a huge source of ideas, creation, and ingenuity. I've also felt that Tomorrowland should be the heart and soul of our future, and in a small way continually ask the difficult question, "What's next?"
An Inspiring TED Talk - Adora Svitak: What adults can learn from kids
One place that I've found that answers the question of, "What's next" is TED. I've been watching a few TED talks the past couple days, and felt that this picture and this talk seemed to line up quite nicely. This girl has got a bright future ahead of her. It's refreshing to hear such a young person speak such inspiring words.

Daily Photo Tour - The Path to Tomorrow
For some the pathway to tomorrow may appear well lit. A warm glow glistening across a smooth path beckoning to take you somewhere with just one step. More often than not, it's a dirt road, barely lit by moonlight; a treacherous path that would tire even the most dedicated. I don't know why some paths are harder than others, why some seamlessly take you into tomorrow with just one step while others take a thousand. But I do know one thing, the most rewarding path is the one you manage to survive, beyond your own expectations. It's the story worth telling.

Daily Photo Tour - Wonder into the Future
Something about this banner caught my eye the other day as the three of us were walking around the Innoventions Platform looking for some interesting sunset vantage points. Right as I walked by, the Matterhorn snuck right behind this little girl. Shots like these usually confuse me or don't make sense, but something happened and I decided I should take it. The elements seemed to line up nicely. I love Tomorrowland during sunset. It seems to inhabit the feeling of exploring the unknown, branching out and discovering new technologies, and letting the imagination wonder into the future.

Daily Photo Tour - A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrowland
There's a great big beautiful Tomorrowland, illuminating the end of every day at Disneyland. The vibrant neon lights of this land are my favorite reason to visit at night time. For me, it's the time when Tomorrowland really comes to life. Innoventions was roped off by the time I took this shot, so I had to set my tripod on a ledge and take the shot a couple of feet overhead. The bright light in the sky above Space Mountain is coming from World of Color, which also does a pretty good job of illuminating nights at the Disneyland Resort.
